What I’m Thankful For This Year

It cheers you up.Happy Thanksgiving!  This year, I’m grateful for my cozy little apartment and the good health of my furry little friend who is getting up there in years.  I’m grateful for my literary agent who continues to believe in my writing and is working hard to find me a publisher.  I’m grateful that my family are loving and healthy and keep in touch with each other.  I’m grateful for the relative peace and stability in our country while I keep track of events around the world, and for the activism here that helps us address our own problems.  I’m grateful for my ability to donate a little money here and there.  I’m grateful for my job and pleasant coworkers.  I’m grateful for the new musicians in my band who may just be the best I’ve ever played with, and for my loyal friends who make me laugh and help me put my problems in perspective.  I’m grateful for the books, TV shows and movies that have fed my imagination this year.  If I’ve left out anything important, I’ll say thank you for that too.  :)   To whomever is out there listening.
