You already know that brown rice is better for you than white rice but I know your complaint, It’s not “as good” right? Wrong! I’m a firm believer that all healthy food can be delicious if it’s made right! For my brown rice I like to use a mixed medley. This brings interesting textures and different earthy tones for your taste buds to enjoy. Now there are a thousand different recipes for brown rice but my go to is very simple. Just some pimento olives and green bell pepper. Now I know this may sound weird but take my word for it and give it a try. The olives add a nice salty bit so there is no need to add salt and the bell pepper is just a flavor I really enjoy. I guess you can do without the bell pepper if you are not a fan but this is a great way to sneak in some veggies for your dinner. If you decide to skip out on the pepper you can always add carrots or green beans or something else that you may like better. I enjoyed my rice with some grilled salmon and veggies.

7-10 Pemento olives diced
