Get the Look: Whitney Port

-1I just love BeautyCon  – I wish they had them every month! Their main event was this past Saturday in NY, and as always, the event was jam-packed with tons of beauty inspiration.

Actress Whitney Port definitely caught my eye, having recently cut her long hair, opting for a lob (long bob) that she dressed in an edgy chic 90’s top bun.

Stylist Akira Yamane of NY’s Eiji Salon gave me the lowdown on how to re-create this fresh, hip look.

Step 1:
Whitney had an angled bob and she wanted to have a simple hair do. We blew out her hair straight and ironed the ends for shine to keep it simple and modern.

Step 2:
For added moisture and shine, we added an oil called Elujuda from Milbon.

Step 3:
Once all the sections were straightened we parted the hair in two pieces and loosely with our fingers combed the top part of the hair back bringing it into a top bun that had messy edge to it.

Step 4:
Once completed, we used the Volume Mist from Milbon and Sebastian’s Reshaper hair spray.
